For the past 25 years, Places for People Individual Support has provided care and support for people up and down the country. Over this time the type of care and support, and the way Individual Support works, has changed.
But our main aim has always stayed the same: to help our customers lead successful and fulfilling lives.
That’s why Individual Support is today (4 April 2016) rebranding to Places for People Living+ (pronounced Places for People Living Plus).
It’s much more than just a name change – our new identity reflects an enhanced offering to customers. Living+ will give them the confidence and support needed to live life to the full - whether that’s peace of mind, security or just good company.
Our core operations
We provide three core operations: services for later life including specialist dementia services, support services for vulnerable individuals with complex needs and specialist landlord services.
Operating in the social housing sector, we will manage support contracts directly – working with expert partners to develop new, purpose-designed and built services and offering personalised accommodation to a wide range of people, including those with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
We also help customers by supporting them into employment, education and training, as well as providing guidance on managing their money.
Debi Marriott-Lavery, Managing Director, Living+ said: “For the past 25 years, we’ve been providing care and support for people up and down the country. Over this time the type of care and support, and the way we work, has changed. That’s why we’ve evolved to Living+. Despite our identity change, our aim will remain the same - to help our customers lead successful and fulfilling lives.”
